چرا برای فارسی‌زبان‌ها سخت است؟

در فارسی هر شخص پایانهٔ خودش را دارد (می‌روم، می‌رود). در انگلیسی تقریباً پایانه‌ای نیست، فقط یک ‎-s برای he/she/it — و همین ‎-s کوچک زیاد جا می‌افتد.

قاعده

در حال سادهٔ انگلیسی، بعد از he، she، it و هر اسم مفرد (my father، the shop) به فعل ‎-s یا ‎-es اضافه کن: she works، he goes، it watches. have برای سوم‌شخص می‌شود has.

In the present simple, add -s/-es to the verb after he, she, it (and any singular noun): she works, he goes, it costs. have → has.
